A public art project with one-thousand-square feet of 6" x 6" ceramic tile. The artist developed the design concept and oversaw the installation. She collaborated with 1,300 residents of the Buffalo community who decorated tiles that were fired at Locust Street Neighborhood Art Classes, Inc. The 4,000-tile work is installed on five surfaces in the vestibule and circular lobby of the former Apollo Theater (1941), restored in 2000 as a municipal telecommunications center.
